ABOUT THE THEME

India is a land of diverse cultures, magnificent monuments, ancient traditions, vibrant festivals, folk arts, natural landscapes and countless stories that reflect the spirit of Bharat.

Through the theme “Colours of Bharat: Celebrating Heritage & Tourism”, participants are encouraged to creatively explore and showcase India’s rich heritage, cultural diversity, historical landmarks, spiritual traditions, tourism destinations, local crafts, folk culture and unique way of life.

Participants may choose any aspect of India’s heritage and tourism that inspires them and present it through their chosen competition category.

COMMON RULES & REGULATIONS

1.Participants must register online through: www.rangapc.com www.weoneevents.com

2.Schools, Colleges, Universities, Institutes and Organisations may register participants through Group Registration.

3.Each registration is valid for ONE ENTRY in a particular competition category.

4.The competition is open to participants from all over India.

5.All entries must be original and created by the participant.

6.Entries containing offensive, political, communal, defamatory or inappropriate content will be disqualified.

7.Participants must clearly mention their Name, Address, City, State, Date of Birth, School / College / Institution Name (if applicable), Mobile Number and Payment Code Number wherever required.

8.The organisers reserve the right to use submitted entries for exhibitions, publications, promotional activities and social media platforms.

9.Submitted entries shall become part of the RANG archive and may not be returned.

10.The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

11.The organisers reserve the right to amend rules, dates or competition formats if necessary.

12.Incomplete entries or entries received after the deadline may not be considered.

DRAWING & PAINTING COMPETITION

Age Groups & Registration Fees

Rules:

1. Drawings can be created using any medium such as pencil, pen, crayons, oil pastel, watercolour, poster colour, acrylic colour, oil colour, charcoal, etc.

2. Paper Size: • Group 1 &2 : A4 Size • Group 3 to 10 : A3 Size

3. Participants in Group 1 & 2 (Jr. KG, Sr. KG, 1st Std& 2nd Std) may colour a black-and-white (B/W) picture related to the competition theme, downloaded from Google or any other online source, on an A4-size sheet. However, free-hand drawing based on the theme is encouraged and will be preferred by the judges.

4. Participants must create artwork based on the theme: “Colours of Bharat: Celebrating Heritage & Tourism”

5. Original artwork only will be accepted.

6. Digital artwork will not be accepted.

7. Paintings should not be framed.

8. Participants must clearly mention their Name, Address, City, State, Date of Birth, School Name, Mobile Number and Payment Code Number in CAPITAL ENGLISH LETTERS on the backside of the drawing sheet.

9. Entries must be sent through Registered Post or a Reputed Courier Service.

10. Drawings may be displayed in exhibitions, publications or social media promotions organised by RANG Foundation.

ELOCUTION COMPETITION

Age Groups & Registration Fees

Rules:

1. Participants may deliver their speech in ANY INDIAN LANGUAGE.

2. Topic must be based on: “Colours of Bharat: Celebrating Heritage & Tourism”

3. Time Limit: Minimum 3 Minutes Maximum 5 Minutes

4. Participants must send their video by email only to: rangelocution@gmail.com

5. Video must be clear, audible and without misleading edits.

6. Participants must mention their Name, Address, City, State, Date of Birth, School / College Name, Mobile Number and Payment Code Number in CAPITAL ENGLISH LETTERS in the email body.

7. Content should be non-controversial and relevant to the theme.

ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

Age Groups & Registration Fees

Rules:

1. Essays may be written in ANY INDIAN LANGUAGE.

2. Topic must be based on: “Colours of Bharat: Celebrating Heritage & Tourism”

3. Essay Length: 300 to 600 words.

4. Essays must be handwritten clearly on foolscap paper.

5. Typed, printed or digital submissions will not be accepted.

6. The essay must be the participant’s original work.

7. Participants must clearly mention their Name, Address, City, State, Date of Birth, School / College Name, Mobile Number and Payment Code Number in CAPITAL ENGLISH LETTERS on the backside of the essay.

8. Original essays must be sent through Registered Post or a Reputed Courier Service only.

SHORT FILM COMPETITION

Age Groups & Registration Fees

Rules

1. Individual as well as Team Participation is allowed.

2. Theme: “Colours of Bharat: Celebrating Heritage & Tourism”

3. Duration: Minimum 3 Minutes Maximum 10 Minutes

4. Participants may create films using Mobile Phones, Cameras or Professional Equipment.

5. Films may be Documentary, Travelogue, Fiction, Animation, Experimental, Cultural, Heritage or Tourism based.

6. Films may be produced in any Indian Language.

7. Films in languages other than Hindi or English must contain English subtitles.

8. Participants must email their films to: rangshortfilm@gmail.com

9. A brief synopsis in English must accompany the film submission.

10. The use of copyrighted material without proper permission is strictly prohibited.

11. Submitted films may be screened, promoted or showcased by the organisers.

12. The judging panel’s decision shall be final.

VLOGGING COMPETITION

Age Groups & Registration Fees

Rules

1. Eligibility : Open to school students, college students, teachers & general participants.

2. Participation : Individual entries only.

3. Duration : Vlog must be 2–5 minutes long.

4. Language : Any indian regional language and English.

5. Subtitles : Recommended for regional-language entries (English/Hindi).

6. Format : Submit the video in MP4, either 16:9 or 9:16.

7. Quality : Minimum video quality should be 720p.

8. Originality : Content must be original ; plagiarism or copied content will lead to disqualification.

9. Content : Show case heritage and tourism.

10. Restrictions : No abusive, offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate content; avoid copy righted music without permission.

11. Compulsion : Participant should be visible while recording the vlog.

12. Submission :Only one entry per participant ; late submissions will not be accepted.

13. Judging : Judges’ decision will be final and binding ; unfair practices may result in disqualification.

IMPORTANT DATES

Last Date of Registration & Submission: 15 October 2026

Result Declaration: 30 November 2026

Prize Distribution: 20th to 23rd January 2027
